If your boat has its own rudder then you can use a remote throttle with the Torqeedo 1003 or 1103.  Simply remove the outboard's tiller and position it to'straight ahead'.  The remote throttle displays digital information, similar to the one built into the tiller - and controls direction (forward/reverse) and your speed.
